Home Alone is a side-scrolling action-adventure video game released for the Sega Game Gear in 1992.

It is based on the 1990 hit movie of the same name and follows the 8 year old protagonist, Kevin McCallister, as he defends his home from two burglars, Harry and Marv.

The game takes place over four levels, each with its own unique hazards for Kevin to overcome.

The first level has players controlling Kevin as he navigates his way through the house, avoiding traps set by Harry and Marv such as glue on the floor and electric shockers.

Players must also collect items such as coins, keys, and batteries that can be used to unlock doors or activate traps that will hinder the progress of Harry and Marv.

Once all of these tasks have been completed, players will then face off against a boss at the end of each level.

The second level takes place outside of the house where players control Kevin as he uses a slingshot to shoot down snowballs at Harry and Marv while avoiding obstacles such as trees and icicles.

This level also has a few mini-games where players have to catch presents being thrown by Santa Claus in order to earn extra points.

The third level has players controlling Kevin as he drives around town in a toy car collecting items such as coins, keys, and batteries while also avoiding obstacles like cars and trucks.

Players must also find power-ups that can be used to boost their speed or make them invisible for short periods of time so they can avoid enemies more easily.

Finally, the fourth level takes place inside a department store where players must use their slingshot to shoot down gifts at Harry and Marv while avoiding obstacles such as shelves full of merchandise.

At the end of this level is another boss battle where players must defeat an enemy who is armed with an electric shocker before they can progress any further in the game.

Overall Home Alone is a fun action-adventure game that offers plenty of challenges for gamers of all ages.

The game’s colorful graphics are pleasing to look at and its catchy soundtrack helps keep players immersed in its charming world throughout their journey.

Home Alone is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for some classic Sega Game Gear entertainment!
