Moai-kun is a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) platform game released in Japan in 1987. It was developed and published by Jaleco. The player takes control of Moai-kun, a small, round creature with a large head. He is on a mission to restore the peace of his home island by collecting all the stars which have been scattered across the island.

The game consists of seven stages that are played in order. At the start of each level, Moai-kun must collect three stars before being able to proceed to the next stage. Along the way, he will face various enemies such as snakes, crabs, birds and bats which can be defeated by jumping on them or using special items found throughout the levels. In addition to enemies, Moai-kun must also avoid obstacles such as spikes and pits that can cause him to lose lives if he touches them.

Each level has its own unique theme and design. For example, one level might take place in a jungle while another might be set in an underwater cave. The levels also feature different kinds of platforms and blocks that can be used to reach higher areas or cross wide gaps. In some levels there are also secret passages that can be accessed by finding hidden switches or keys that open doors leading to bonus stages with extra points or items for Moai-kun to collect.

At the end of each level, Moai-kun must face off against a boss character who will need to be defeated before he can proceed any further. Defeating these bosses requires quick reflexes and smart tactics as they often have powerful attacks that can quickly deplete Moai-kun’s life meter if not avoided or blocked properly.

Overall, Moai-kun is an enjoyable NES platformer with challenging levels filled with various enemies and obstacles for players to overcome as they progress through the game’s seven stages towards restoring peace on their home island. With its charming visuals and catchy soundtrack it is sure to provide hours of fun for fans of classic 8-bit games from this era.
