Predator 2 is a 1992 side-scrolling action video game released for the Sega Genesis Mega Drive. It is based on the 1990 film of the same name and its sequel, Predator 2. The player controls Lieutenant Michael "Mike" Harrigan, a detective in Los Angeles whose mission is to kill four Predators in order to save his city from their terror.

The game starts in Medea City, where Lt. Harrigan must track down and destroy these hostile extraterrestrial creatures that have been killing people in record numbers. He begins with a simple point-and-click search of eight different areas of town – from uptown to downtown, even underground levels – each one filled with more enemies and hidden items than the last. As he kills certain targets such as civilians or police officers, Lt. Harrigan earns points that can be used to purchase more powerful weaponry along the way.

Using a basic keyboard-controlled interface, Lt. Harrigan movers around these environments using a mix of jumps and shoots as he takes out victims to earn points and collects money scattered throughout them to upgrade his arsenal which includes grenades, guns, bombs, mines and heat sensors that can detect when the predators are near. He also has access to special moves such as body slams and leg sweeps to take out multiple targets at once while avoiding any damage himself – something only an experienced detective like him can do!

As Lt. Harrigan progresses through each level he learns more about what is happening with the Predators as details such as their origin come up as well as pieces of ancient Martian technology they are trying to access via ancient artifacts they have collected throughout Medea city – an effort by them to attempt completing some sort of plan that would involve their home world if it were successful . . .

Once all four Predators are defeated Lt. Harrigan comes face-to-face with their leader: Super Predator! Fortunately for humanity's sake, this dude isn't the smartest alien around so it doesn't take much for Mike to succeed in bringing him down too before finally restoring peace across all parts of Medea City once again!
