Final Fight 2 is a classic side-scrolling beat-em-up video game released by Capcom for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993. The game is a sequel to the original Final Fight, which was released two years prior. In Final Fight 2, players take control of three characters—Guy, Maki and Carlos—as they travel around the world to defeat the Mad Gear Gang and their leader Belger.

The gameplay of Final Fight 2 is similar to its predecessor, with the player controlling one of the three main characters as they fight against waves of enemies in each stage. The player can move left and right on a two-dimensional plane and can punch, kick, jump and use special moves to attack enemies. Additionally, each character has their own unique set of special moves that can be used to dispatch tougher opponents. Defeating all enemies in a stage will cause a boss enemy or group of enemies to appear at the end; defeating them will progress the player further into the game.

The graphics in Final Fight 2 are very detailed and colorful. Each character has distinct animations when they move or attack and even small details such as background objects are rendered with great detail. Additionally, music plays throughout each stage depending on the current situation; for example, intense battle music will play during fights against multiple enemies while calmer tunes accompany exploration sequences between stages.

The story of Final Fight 2 follows Guy, Maki and Carlos as they attempt to stop Belger from taking over Metro City once again with his Mad Gear Gang. After learning about Belger's plans from Haggar—the mayor of Metro City—the trio sets off around the world searching for clues about where Belger is located. Along the way they fight members of Mad Gear in various countries including Japan, China, Italy and Germany before finally confronting Belger himself in his hideout in Metro City.

Final Fight 2 remains one of Capcom's most beloved titles today due its well-crafted gameplay mechanics, detailed visuals and memorable soundtrack. It's still considered by many fans to be one of the best beat-em-up games ever made and is often cited as an influence on later titles such as Streets Of Rage 3 and Double Dragon 5: The Shadow Falls.
