Aero the Acro-Bat is a 2D side-scrolling platformer video game released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1993. The player takes control of Aero, an acrobatic bat who must rescue his beloved circus from the evil industrialist Edgar Ektor. The game was developed by David Siller and Iguana Entertainment and published by Sunsoft.

The game is set in the world of Circus Town, where Aero lives with his friends. One day, a mysterious figure known as Edgar Ektor appears and begins to take over the circus using his army of robots. It is up to Aero to stop him and save the circus from destruction.

Aero's primary weapon in this adventure is his trusty yo-yo, which can be used to attack enemies or break objects in order to reveal hidden items. Players can also use other items such as bombs and boomerangs to help defeat enemies and progress through levels. In addition, Aero has several acrobatic moves at his disposal such as running up walls, swinging on poles, and spinning in midair. These moves are necessary for completing some levels as they allow access to otherwise inaccessible areas.

The game features four main worlds with six levels each, along with two bonus rounds for a total of 26 stages. Each level contains multiple platforms that must be traversed while avoiding enemies and obstacles such as spikes or bottomless pits. If players manage to make it through all 26 stages without losing all their lives, they will face off against Edgar Ektor himself in a final battle at the end of the fourth world.

In addition to its single-player mode, Aero the Acro-Bat also supports two-player cooperative gameplay via split screen mode. This allows two players to team up together in order to complete levels more efficiently and quickly than when playing alone.

Overall, Aero the Acro-Bat offers an entertaining experience with vibrant visuals, catchy music, challenging platforming action and plenty of secrets waiting to be discovered by dedicated adventurers!
