The story of the game follows the protagonist, Jack, who is a special agent sent to infiltrate an evil organization called Dark Arms. His mission is to defeat their leader, Dr. Kain, and liberate the world from his control. The player must navigate through various levels filled with enemies and obstacles while using Jack’s unique abilities.

Jack has several weapons at his disposal to help him in his mission: a gun, a grappling hook, bombs, missiles, and an air dash maneuver. He also has access to four power-ups which give him additional capabilities such as invincibility or double damage.
