Streets of Rage 3 is a side-scrolling beat 'em up video game developed and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive console. It was released in 1994 as the third installment in the Streets of Rage series, following Streets of Rage and Streets of Rage 2. The game follows three new protagonists, Skate, Max, and Blaze, as they fight against the criminal syndicate known as "The Syndicate" to save their kidnapped friend Adam Hunter.

The game features a variety of levels set in different locations such as a city street, an amusement park, a factory, and a military base. Players can choose from four characters: Skate (a teenage rollerblader), Max (a former boxer), Blaze (a female martial artist), and Dr. Zan (a scientist). Each character has their own unique moveset and special attacks that can be used to defeat enemies. The game also features two-player cooperative play where players can team up to take on enemies together.

The graphics in Streets of Rage 3 are significantly improved over its predecessors with detailed sprites and backgrounds. The soundtrack is composed by Yuzo Koshiro who also composed the music for the previous games in the series. The music is upbeat and catchy which adds to the intensity of each level.

Streets of Rage 3 introduces several new gameplay mechanics such as weapon pick-ups which allow players to equip weapons such as knives or bats to use against enemies; special moves which require energy bars that fill up when attacking enemies; and bonus stages where players must complete various tasks within a time limit for extra points. Additionally, there are hidden items scattered throughout each level that can be collected for bonus points or health refills.

Overall, Streets of Rage 3 is an excellent beat 'em up game with great visuals, sound effects, music, and gameplay mechanics that make it stand out from other games in its genre. It's an enjoyable experience for both single player and co-op play that will keep you coming back for more!
