GG Aleste is a vertical scrolling shooter video game developed by Compile and released for the Sega Game Gear in 1993. It is the fourth installment in the Aleste series, and the only one to be released on a handheld console. The game was later released as part of Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 4: GG Aleste on the PlayStation 2 in 2004.

In GG Aleste, players take control of an advanced fighter jet called "M-308G" and must battle through eight levels of intense action while dodging enemy fire and collecting power-ups along the way. The game features a variety of weapons, including homing missiles, lasers, bombs, and more. Players can also collect special items that allow them to upgrade their weapons or gain access to secret areas within levels. Additionally, there are several boss fights throughout the game which require quick reflexes and clever use of power-ups in order to defeat them.

The main objective of GG Aleste is to reach the end of each level while destroying as many enemies as possible in order to score points. Points are awarded based on how many enemies are destroyed, with bonus points being awarded for collecting certain power-ups or completing specific tasks during each stage. The game also features a "Challenge Mode," which allows players to replay any completed level in order to try and achieve higher scores than before. There is also an option for two players to play cooperatively via link cable connection.

At its core, GG Aleste is an intense side-scrolling shooter with plenty of action and challenging bosses that will keep gamers coming back for more. With its colorful graphics, smooth controls, and a wide variety of weapons at your disposal, this classic shooter still stands up today as one of the best titles available for the Game Gear console.
