Nigel Mansell’s World Championship Racing is a racing game released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1992. The game was developed by Gremlin Graphics, and it was published by GameTek. It is based on the 1992 Formula One season, and it features all sixteen teams from that year. This includes Williams-Renault, Ferrari, McLaren, Benetton, Jordan and Ligier.

The objective of the game is to win the World Drivers Championship. Players can choose from any of the sixteen drivers in the season to race with, including Nigel Mansell himself. Each team has its own unique car with different performance characteristics such as acceleration, top speed and handling. Players must compete in all sixteen races on tracks around the world including Brazil, Monaco and Japan. In order to win each race players must finish ahead of their opponents while also keeping an eye on their fuel levels and tire wear.

The game features several modes of play including single race mode where players can try out any track they want or championship mode which requires them to complete all sixteen races in order to win the title. There is also a two-player split-screen mode for head-to-head competition between friends or family members.

Nigel Mansell’s World Championship Racing looks great for a SNES game thanks to the bright colors used throughout and detailed car models which look similar to those found in real life F1 cars at that time period. The sound effects are also quite good with realistic engine noises as well as crowd cheers when you cross the finish line first.

Overall Nigel Mansell’s World Championship Racing is an excellent racing game for the SNES that captures the excitement of Formula One racing quite well while still being accessible enough for newcomers to enjoy too. The graphics are great for its time and there are lots of different modes of play which helps keep things fresh during extended play sessions. If you’re looking for a fun racing experience that will take you back to 1992 then this is definitely one worth checking out!
