Metal Morph is a side-scrolling platformer game released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993. Developed by Rare and published by Acclaim Entertainment, Metal Morph is set in a futuristic world where robots have taken over the world and the player must take on the role of a robot named MetalMan to save humanity from their robotic oppressors.

The game is played from an isometric perspective, with the player controlling MetalMan through various levels while defeating enemies and collecting power-ups along the way. As they progress through each level, they will find various upgrades which can be used to improve MetalMan’s abilities and make him stronger. Additionally, there are several mini-games scattered throughout the levels which can be completed for extra points.

The main objective of each level is to reach its end point without getting killed by enemies or hazards. Enemies come in all shapes and sizes, from small drones that shoot lasers at you to large robots that require multiple hits to defeat. Hazards include moving platforms, spikes, bottomless pits and more; these obstacles will require careful maneuvering in order to avoid taking damage or falling off the edge of a platform. Power ups can also be found throughout each level; these items range from health packs which restore lost energy to weapon upgrades that increase damage output against enemies.

At certain points during each stage, players will encounter boss fights which must be won before progressing further into the game. These bosses are typically much tougher than regular enemies and require precise timing as well as clever strategy in order to defeat them. After completing each level, players are rewarded with points depending on how quickly they finished it as well as any bonus points earned from completing mini-games or finding hidden items throughout the stages.

Overall, Metal Morph offers an interesting experience that combines action-packed combat with puzzle solving elements. With its colorful visuals, engaging gameplay and catchy soundtrack, this classic SNES game remains one of Rare’s best titles for the system and continues to entertain gamers today.
