Mario no Super Picross is a 1995 puzzle video game developed by Jupiter and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was released in Japan on October 27, 1995 and later in Europe on December 18, 1996. The game was also released for the Virtual Console in Japan on April 28, 2008, and in North America on May 5, 2008.

The player takes control of Mario, who must solve a variety of puzzles known as "Picross" (also known as "Nonograms"). The objective is to fill out the grid with either black or white blocks to reveal a hidden picture. To do this, the player must use numeric clues located at the top and left side of each puzzle to determine which squares need to be filled in. Once all of the correct squares are filled in correctly, the picture is revealed and points are awarded depending on how quickly it was completed.

The game features 100 puzzles that range from easy to difficult levels. As well as these standard puzzles, there are also special bonus stages called "Super Picross" which feature larger grids with even more complex puzzles to complete. As these stages are completed, new tools become available such as being able to mark multiple squares at once or revealing certain sections of the puzzle without having to guess what they might be.

In addition to playing solo, Mario no Super Picross also featured a 2-player mode where two players can compete against each other using their own unique set of puzzles. This mode allows players to customize their experience by choosing difficulty level and number of columns/rows for their grid size. Players can also save their progress and continue playing at any time.

Overall Mario no Super Picross is an enjoyable and challenging puzzle game that has stood the test of time since its initial release over two decades ago. It’s simple yet addictive gameplay makes it a great choice for both casual gamers looking for something lighthearted or hardcore puzzlers looking for something more intense. With its ability to customize difficulty levels and its wide variety of puzzles available it’s sure to keep players engaged for hours on end!
