Code Name - Viper, released in 1990 for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), is an action-packed side scrolling shooter game. The player takes control of a secret agent, who is code-named Viper and must use their skills and gadgets to take out enemies and complete various missions.

The game begins with a cinematic introduction that sets the stage for the action. Players are introduced to their character, Viper, as they receive orders from their commander to investigate a new threat to world security. It quickly becomes apparent that this new threat may be too powerful for even Viper to handle alone, so his mission is to recruit four other agents and form a special task force.

Once the team has been assembled, players take control of Viper as he moves through eight levels of intense action. In each level there are multiple enemies to defeat, obstacles to overcome and puzzles to solve in order to progress further in the game. As players progress through each level they will also find various weapons and items scattered throughout which can help them on their mission such as bombs, health packs, energy refills and more.

As well as fighting off enemies by shooting or using melee attacks, players must also use stealth tactics when necessary in order to avoid detection or surprise enemies with sudden attacks. This adds an extra layer of challenge as players must consider how best approach each situation in order to succeed.

The graphics in Code Name – Viper are quite basic but still manage to create an atmosphere of tension and excitement which helps draw players into the experience even more. The soundtrack is also quite catchy with some great tunes that fit perfectly with the fast paced action on screen.

Overall Code Name – Viper provides an exciting experience that fans of classic shoot em up games will surely appreciate. With its challenging levels and varied gameplay it offers plenty of replay value and is sure keep gamers entertained for hours on end!
