Pang is a classic arcade game developed by Mitchell Corporation and released in arcades in 1989. It was later ported to home consoles such as the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, the Game Boy, and the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. The game is often referred to as Buster Bros. or Pomping World in North America, due to its release under those titles for the SNES and Game Boy systems respectively.

The objective of Pang is simple: using a harpoon gun, players must eliminate all of the bubble-like creatures (known as “pang”) that inhabit each stage before they reach the bottom of the screen. As they progress through each stage, players will earn points based on how quickly they can destroy all of the pang before it reaches them. The score multiplier increases if multiple pang are eliminated at once, so it is important for players to try and plan their shots accordingly. After clearing a stage, players must continue on until they reach the final boss.

Each stage consists of several levels with different obstacles and enemies that make it difficult for players to clear them quickly. These include walls that block shots from certain angles, conveyor belts that move pang across the screen at varying speeds, and enemies like UFOs that shoot projectiles at players or drop bombs down on them. There are also power-ups scattered throughout each level which can give players an advantage by increasing their firepower or giving extra lives when needed.

As if this wasn’t enough challenge already, there are also boss battles scattered throughout each world which require quick reflexes and precise aim in order to defeat them. Defeating these bosses rewards players with bonus points and other useful items which can be used throughout their journey.

With its simple yet addictive gameplay mechanics, vibrant art style, frantic action sequences and catchy soundtrack; Pang has become an arcade classic over time and continues to be enjoyed by gamers around the world today! Whether you’re playing it on an old school console or on your phone; Pang is sure to provide hours upon hours of entertainment!
