Namco Museum is a compilation of classic Namco arcade games that was released on the Nintendo Game Boy Advance in 2001. The collection includes eight titles from the company’s expansive library, including Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug, Rally-X, Bosconian, Xevious, Mappy and Tower of Druaga.

The compilation features all of the original games with updated graphics and sound. All of the games remain faithful to their original versions but have been enhanced to look better on the small Game Boy Advance screen. Each game also comes with its own set of options which allow players to modify various elements such as difficulty level and number of lives.

Namco Museum is a great way for gamers to experience some classic arcade hits without having to leave their home. It is also an excellent way for younger gamers to get acquainted with some of the older arcade games that they may not be familiar with. Many gamers will also appreciate being able to play these classic titles on their portable system rather than having to be tethered to their console or computer at home.

In addition to the eight classic Namco titles included in Namco Museum, there are also two bonus unlockable games which can be accessed by completing certain objectives within each game. These bonus games are Pac-Mania and Galaga ‘88 which were both follow up releases in the respective series and offer a more modern take on these classic franchises.

The presentation of Namco Museum is fairly simplistic but still does an effective job at replicating the look and feel of a real life arcade cabinet. The menus feature digitized images from actual cabinets while each game has its own unique soundtrack that has been remastered from its original version. This adds a nice touch as it allows players to experience these timeless classics just like they did back in their heyday when they first entered an arcade hall full of blinking lights and blaring sounds from all directions.

Overall, Namco Museum is an excellent compilation for any fan of retro gaming or those who simply wish to experience some classic gaming history on their Game Boy Advance system. The collection features some timeless classics that still hold up today along with two bonus unlockables that add even more value for those who wish to explore further into this fantastic package.
