Gunstar Super Heroes is a side-scrolling action shooter game developed by Treasure and published by Sega for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. The game was released in Japan on April 21, 2005 and in North America on October 18, 2005. Gunstar Super Heroes is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Gunstar Heroes which was released in 1993 for Sega Genesis. The game follows two characters, Red and Blue, as they battle against an evil empire called the Empire of Divine Flying Vessels.

The story of Gunstar Super Heroes takes place many years after its predecessor. An ancient relic known as the “G-Stone” has been discovered by a group of scientists who are researching its powers. The G-Stone has mysterious powers that can grant great power to those that possess it. Unfortunately, the Empire of Divine Flying Vessels has become aware of this relic and is determined to take it for their own evil purposes. As a result, Red and Blue have been chosen by their leader, Professor White, to protect the G-Stone from the Empire’s forces. Armed with powerful weapons and special abilities, Red and Blue must battle their way through various levels filled with enemies in order to keep the G-Stone out of enemy hands.

The gameplay in Gunstar Super Heroes is similar to its predecessor but with some major changes added to make it more modernized compared to Gunstar Heroes. Players control either Red or Blue as they fight against numerous enemies using a variety of weapons such as machine guns, laser beams, missiles, and grenades among others. In addition to shooting enemies using weapons players can also use melee attacks such as punches or kicks while also performing special moves like dash attacks and wall jumps which can help them reach certain areas or avoid damage from enemies. Players can also collect power ups throughout levels which will increase their health meter or give them access to new weapons or special moves that can be used during combat sequences. In addition to this players can also use coins collected during levels which can be used at shops located at various points throughout levels where different items such as health refills or weapon upgrades can be purchased for use during combat sequences.

Overall Gunstar Super Heroes is an amazing action shooter game that captures all the intense action fans have come expect from Treasure games while adding some modern elements into the mix which helps make it stand out from other games in its genre. With its fast paced action sequences and intense boss fights Gunstar Super Heroes provides hours of fun for gamers looking for a challenging yet rewarding experience on their Game Boy Advance system!
