Army Men – Operation Green is a real-time tactical video game developed by Digital Eclipse and published by 3DO for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance in 2002. The game is part of the Army Men series of video games which began with Army Men: Toys in Space on the original PlayStation. The game follows the adventures of Sarge, a green plastic soldier who must battle his way through enemy lines to save his comrades from an evil Tan General.

In Army Men – Operation Green, players take control of Sarge and lead him through four main levels as he battles against an onslaught of enemy forces. The game features two-dimensional, top-down gameplay in which players must use strategy and tactics to defeat their opponents. In each level, players are presented with a variety of objectives that must be completed before they can progress to the next stage. These objectives range from rescuing hostages to destroying enemy bases or capturing key locations. As players progress through the levels, they will also encounter numerous enemies including tanks, helicopters, jets and more.

The gameplay in Army Men – Operation Green is relatively simple but contains some strategic elements that require careful planning and execution in order to succeed. Players must make use of cover whenever possible as they move around the battlefields and utilize their weapons effectively in order to survive. Players can also choose from a variety of weapons including grenades, flamethrowers, bazookas and machine guns which all have different strengths and weaknesses depending on the situation at hand. Additionally, some levels feature special items such as health packs or ammo crates which can be used to replenish health or ammunition respectively.

The graphics in Army Men – Operation Green are quite basic but still provide an enjoyable experience for gamers looking for some good old fashioned fun with plastic soldiers on their Game Boy Advance system. The music is mostly upbeat with some military themes thrown into the mix adding further atmosphere to this classic title from 2002.

Overall, Army Men – Operation Green provides an engaging real-time tactical experience for gamers who want something different than traditional shooters or RPGs on their portable console systems. With its simple yet challenging gameplay mechanics and charming visuals, this title makes for a great way to pass time while waiting for your next bus ride or plane flight.
